Our Director, Alan Northen, has undertaken more work to support the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) update its New Rules of Measurement (NRM) suite.
Alan is lead author on the 2nd edition of NRM2, which was published as a PDF download at the end of October 2021.
“I knew I wanted to do something within the construction industry and saw an apprenticeship as the best way to get valuable work experience. Northen offered the chance to gain a degree with this, which is a great opportunity.”
A fantastic five-year journey and now the sky is the limit for Connor, who has just graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management from UWE Bristol.
“My army career has helped me and given me the confidence to push my boundaries and learn as much as I possibly can and be determined to achieve. I wanted to get into construction and so researched different jobs, including quantity surveying which appealed to me.”
