We are a small business with exciting growth plans based in high quality rural offices near Thornbury, where our staff work autonomously yet flexibly. We are seeking a Senior QS to join our management team to enhance and develop our Cost Management service and grow it as a business stream.
The role – As well as delivering high quality quantity surveying and cost management services, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships that will require patience, understanding, diplomacy and the foresight to add value. You will be part of a small team, where you will take control of your own projects and coordinate internal resources as needed to deliver your projects. The Directors will support your development and help you with delivery of new business streams.
The skillset – you will have a strong track record in consultancy, will be professional, well connected, technically excellent, have a natural ability to mentor and desire to take on responsibility, as well as help grow client relationships. You will be used to working on projects that are technically challenging, or that require a high level of planning and value engineering. You will need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to impress clients, with business development experience to enable you to play a leading role in developing this area of our business.
