Northen Surveying is delighted to have been supporting Gympanzees since 2019 www.gympanzees.org as they develop a project to open and run the country’s first, fully inclusive leisure centre in the Bristol area.
As well as Alan supporting the property board, our fantastic team has volunteered to build pop-ups at various locations and served in the café over the years. Our newest recruit Jay volunteered during the first week and last Saturday Alan and Katie joined the Gympanzees team to deconstruct the pop-ups.
Having worked on building a pop up in Newport summer ‘21 Katie said ‘It was both hard work and emotional taking all the equipment down, knowing it isn’t a facility (yet) where children can go all the time. It’ll make a massive difference when Gympanzees have their own permanent place.’ Katie has been inspired by the Gympanzees mission she wanted to fundraise for #projecthome by walking 100 miles raising £250.
Both Alan and Katie ask that anyone wishing to volunteer for the pop ups this summer have a deconstruction workout as the Gympanzees team need your help!
