After such a tumultuous year, It was great to attend the virtual South West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (SWAAN) 6th Annual Conference Virtually.
As an employer who runs a growing apprentice program, it was an opportunity to learn, network, and gain knowledge to improve what we deliver. Thank you, there were some exceptional speakers and workshops, now so much to put into practice.
Northen Surveying Services firmly believe apprenticeships are important to develop our business and help it grow. We joined SWAAN earlier this year and are pleased to be working with like-minded regional businesses supporting each other to deliver best practice apprenticeship programs.
As well as taking on another new apprentice in 2021, we are developing a more structured approach to the training and development of our current apprentices, based on their feedback.
We look forward to further connections with SWAAN, and the other 85 members in the South West. This, especially, as there will also be a larger focus on SME’s within the network in 2021 – we hope to be a big part of this!
